Dear Elected Representative,

I am writing as a constituent to let you know that I have signed a petition calling for the establishment of AmericasCare™—a Community-Controlled Healthcare system designed to put control of America's healthcare dollars back into the hands of the communities they serve.

Americans spent approximately $5.3 trillion on healthcare in 2024—more than $15,000 for every person in the country—yet Americans continue to face rising healthcare costs, medical debt, medical-related bankruptcy, unaffordable deductibles and copays, high prescription drug prices, and the potential loss of family assets when long-term care is needed.

America does not have a shortage of healthcare dollars.

WE HAVE A SYSTEM PROBLEM.

I am asking you to support the legislative and regulatory changes necessary to establish AmericasCare™ and its 435 locally controlled Community Healthcare Trusts.

The petition I signed calls for:

• Community control of healthcare dollars through locally controlled Community Healthcare Trusts.

• Nationwide sharing of healthcare risk across all 435 trusts.

• Comprehensive healthcare including medical, hospital, prescription drug, mental health, dental, vision, hearing, rehabilitation, ambulance, home healthcare, and long-term care.

• No deductibles or copays for covered healthcare.

• Medical decisions remaining between patients and qualified healthcare professionals—not politicians, insurance companies, or Community Healthcare Trust boards.

• Prompt payment of verified healthcare bills through a simplified payment system.

• Nationwide prescription drug negotiation using the combined purchasing power of the Community Healthcare Trusts.

• Protection from medical debt and medical-related bankruptcy.

• Comprehensive long-term care without forcing Americans to impoverish themselves or sacrifice the homes and assets they worked a lifetime to build.

• Consolidation, where appropriate, of duplicative medical-payment responsibilities currently spread across health insurance, workers' compensation, automobile insurance, homeowners insurance, business liability insurance, and other systems.

• Strong verification, auditing, transparency, and protections against waste, fraud, and abuse.

• Community control over potential savings after healthcare obligations and appropriate reserves are protected—including the ability to reduce future healthcare costs, invest eligible funds, provide qualified home and automobile loans back to the people in our communities, or return a portion of the savings directly to the people.

AmericasCare™ is NOT a single-payer, government-run healthcare plan that simply replaces today's insurance bureaucracy with another massive government bureaucracy.

Insurance companies and government healthcare programs already spread healthcare risk across millions of people.

AmericasCare™ keeps that proven principle—WE SIMPLY CHANGE WHO CONTROLS THE MONEY AND THE PROCESS.

I urge you to seriously examine this proposal and begin the legislative work necessary to make Community-Controlled Healthcare possible.

I am committed to standing with my fellow Americans to SUPPORT POLICY NOT POLITICIANS.

If you choose to ignore or dismiss this petition, I will take that as a failure to represent the people you were elected to serve. I will remember that when I vote, and I will encourage others to do the same.

We the People have had enough. Too many elected officials prioritize special interests over their constituents and avoid accountability. That era is ending. We will continue to organize, speak with one voice, petition our government, and hold public officials accountable through every lawful means available.
